A run cleared his mind, his focus on the steps he took to push him forward against the small grass path next to the road. It was better for his legs and thus he pushed forward as if he couldn't see around himself. A mistake, one with a collision of two worlds and he was stopped by a body which somehow got in his way. A tumble, a crash and he was face to face with a stranger - every nerve in his body screaming in horror. "My apologies."

He hadn’t slept, not for the past twenty-four hours and as his slim fingers ran across hs forehead, to move shimmering strands of hair aside, the motion was slow and almost forced. His working hours had changed so drastically lately that it rendered him completely clueless of how to adapt, thus staying awake for too many hours, without sleeping in the day after, because there was no time. He grumbled about this to himself, gaze kept by his feet — little did he know it’d be something he’d come to regret.  Only a moment later, he collided with someone else and it sent him backwards a few steps, almost made him topple over and as he regained his balance, he looked up in time to catch the other’s apology, quirking a brow. “ Ah, no worries. I’m not really—” His sentence was interrupted by a yawn. “ Innocent either. ”
