"You should try to be a little more positive. Maybe it will help." She nodded lightly. It was something she had to do as well. She was too dark and too mature for her age. She was lonely and depressed. It was ironic of her to say that but he didn’t know that, so she would just keep quiet for the time being. She lightly swayed on her swing, her hair swaying gently along with the breeze. "Everything has a good side, I’d like to believe. Even the darkest times have positive consequences." She let out a small sigh, looking at the guy before smiling a little. "I hope you don’t mind my butting into your business, though. I often come across as rude and annoying." She told him honestly, simply because she felt like it. If he wanted to watch stars there, sure. But if he wanted to talk to her while doing so, he had to learn about people’s prejudices towards her. She felt her shoulders drop slightly, she had made herself feel worse, great.
Leon’s eyelids fluttered briefly and he fixed her with a curios stare, lasting for a few seconds before forcing himself to look away. She seemed interesting — to him at least — judged by the way she spoke to him. “ When your life has looked like mine, being positive is difficult. ” He stated calmly, voice rather void of emotional response, as it would have conveyed at least hinted remorse hadn’t he been so detached from whatever emotions actually were. He continued to peer at her from time to time, nodding briefly. Because she was right, even in the most solid darkness, there would always be a light; no matter how brief. “ That’s a good way of thinking, wise too. ” His words were a bit silent, followed by an almost bitter huff. “ I don’t mind in the least, not many people speak to me these days, perhaps because they find me intimidating. Seems like the darkness works in my favor today. ” A hint of amusement was present at the end of his sentence, eyes still lingering by her frame. “ So to me, you’re not rude in the least. Rather the opposite. Not annoying either. I’d say you make for pleasant company. I’m rather lonely you see. ”
