evasion – ji&seok ;

There were many moments which Hoseok valued, many moments he considered fleeting and yet another bunch that he considered unimportant. This was one that filled both of the first two categories. Hence why he wasted no time dwelling on anything. It was like a game of cat and mouse, and Hoseok had earned his leading-edge, although brief, fair and square. He thanked his own abilities when he was like this, and he smirked to himself as he leapt across the edge of yet another rooftop. Below him, asphalt and concrete sidewalks lingered, street lights brightening them up slightly with dull rays and he prayed, that he wouldn’t fall. Which he didn’t. He rarely ever did. He had spent years perfecting these motions, calculating distances and making the best jumps he could perform. Thanking his good grades for most of it. It was thanks to his own hard studying that he managed to be on his A-game every singe day of his life.

Azure hues spent a sliver of a second looking over his shoulder, just before his feet caught onto the ground below them, landing safely upon the building across from the previous one. He didn’t dwell, told himself not to, and continued running as quickly as he possibly could, running towards the next edge, this time planning a perfect descend. It was far easier to hide in dark allies than in plain sight on a rooftop. Therefore, as reaching the edge, he stopped, for about three seconds. Contemplating, considering, and deciding. It didn’t take long. The bite of dark night air embraced him like a blanket and he closed his eyes, enjoying the simple sense of freedom he was granted by something so simple. He landed with his knees bent, a pretty little stature he supposed, up and running in a second, turning by the first corner that caught his eyes and continuing his escape.

                His eyes gleamed with playfulness, lips decorated by his signature smirk.                                         Because these are the moments when Hoseok feels truly alive.
